By Air: The airport of Ladakh is located in Leh which is the main city of the region. You can get regular bus services from Srinagar to Leh. Jammu & Kashmir Road Transport Corporation operates regular ordinary and luxury bus services from Srinagar to Leh via Kargil.

Srinagar - Leh route is open for travelers from June to November. The road distance between Srinagar and Leh is around 434 km.

Manali - Leh route (Leh Manali Highway) is around 473 km. Manali and Leh are well-connected by regular bus services of Himachal Pradesh Road Transport Corporation and Jammu & Kashmir Road Transport Corporation. The route is open for travelers between June and November. The route remains closed in winters due to heavy snowfalls.
